NGSA Day 2: 127K Meals Served Daily

NGSA Day 2 Over 127,000 meals are served daily under the National School Feeding Programme, reflecting a 110 percent increase since 2020.

On the coastland, Grades 1 and 2 benefit from the Juice and Biscuit Programme, while Grades 3 to 6 receive breakfast. In the hinterland and riverine areas, students across all grades receive hot meals. This expansion is the result of strong leadership and clear policy direction by Minister of Education Hon. Priya Manickchand, who continues to champion child-focused, inclusive education.
