Notice: GTI Tours of the Schlumberger (SLB) company.

The Science students were given the opportunity to have an interactive workshop and tour of the Schlumberger (SLB) company. SLB is the leading technology company in the world that continuously seeks to unlock access to energy for the benefit of all.

The students were exposed to the various engineering, technological, and scientific principles involved in the production of oil and gas. Students were afforded the opportunity to view the various equipment used in the drilling of the various oil wells and how it leads to the production of oil collected by the various oil rigs. They were also afforded the opportunity to tour the laboratories and various workshops to witness first-hand experience of the production of various chemicals and equipment needed to aid the transport of crude to the respective FPSO. SLB has been in existence for over a century and continues to develop new energy technologies for future development globally.
