NURSERY PARENTS JOIN MOE AGAINST BULLYING

A virtual parental sensitisation session titled “Together Against Bullying: Recognise, Prevent and Respond” was held for nursery-level parents in Region Three on March 26, 2026, with 110 parents participating.

The session focused on helping parents understand bullying, recognise warning signs, and learn effective ways to prevent and respond to it. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of Moral and Civic Education in fostering values such as respect, empathy, and responsibility.

Parents were encouraged to reinforce these values at home and to work closely with schools to create a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.

The session was facilitated by officers of the Early Childhood Unit, NCERD, Ms. Toolaram, Ms. Singh, and Ms. Samaroo, with special remarks delivered by the ACEO for Nursery.
