Pan American Development Foundation ( PADF ) engages the Ministry of Education

Officers of the Ministry of Education met with representatives of the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) today at the Ministry of Education's 26 Brickdam office.

Representing the PADF were its Project Director Mr. Jermaine Grant and Ms. Trudy Abrahams, Communications Specialist.

The Ministry of Education was represented by our Chief Education Officer, Dr. Marcel Hutson, Advisor to the Minister of Education, Ms. Africo Selman, Chief Planning Officer, Ms. Nicola Johnson and Mr. Kerwin Jacobs, Technical Facilitator to the CEO.

The purpose of the meeting was for PADF to update the Ministry on current activities as well as to share its most recent children’s publication. Areas of possible collaboration were also discussed during the engagement.

The PADF is an international non-profit organisation established by the Organisation of American States (OAS) with headquarters in Washington DC. Its mandate is to assist vulnerable and excluded people and communities in the Americas to achieve sustainable economic and social progress, to strengthen communities and civil society, to promote democratic participation and inclusion, and prepare for and respond to natural disasters and other humanitarian crises.
