Para Bara School Commissioned – Journey Preview

Today, Minister of Education Priya Manickchand and team travelled to Para Bara, a village in the deep south of the Rupununi to commission a brand new nursery school and teachers’ quarters. Photographs of the commissioning will be uploaded soon but here’s a preview of the journey to Para Bara!

FYI: the rising rivers at different spots are as a result of natural weather conditions and water flow from mountains etc. In the dry season this same passage would be very different. In fact on our journey back we were able to sit in a motor vehicle through all those spots!
