President’s College Celebrates 41st Anniversary with Minister Parag

Today, President’s College hosted a special assembly in observance of the school’s 41st Anniversary of offering, and their chief guest was alumni, Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education.

Minister Parag delivered a very sentimental feature address, noting how proud she is of the school and being a product of it.

“President’s college is a community. It is one of the very few schools that have students from every single region of our country. It is a family. Over these 41 years, generations of us have lived here together and built friendships that continue to thrive…I am truly proud of that,” minister Parag shared.

The minister also offered some words of motivation and advice to the current students, encouraging them to maintain focus, work hard and aim to build wholesome, lifelong friendships.

The programme also featured a number of cultural performances, including national song renditions from the school’s steelpan champions.

It was a day of gratitude and nostalgia.
