A potential disaster was averted moments ago when quick-thinking teachers, pupils, and members of the Guyana Fire Service contained an electrical spark originating from a Guyana Power and Light (GPL) meter at the Stella Maris Primary School on Woolford Avenue, Georgetown.
Their swift and decisive action ensured that no injuries or serious damage occurred.
We are grateful that all are safe.
