St. Ignatius Secondary’s Rashad Changlee ran well in the boys’ under-15 1500m until cramps curtailed his quest for gold at the inaugural National Secondary Schools Track and Field Championships.
He had to settle for silver.
Akroy DeSantos of Zeeburg Secondary clocked 4:50.76s to win followed by Changlee (4:55.11s) of St. Ignatius Secondary and Neilson Gordon (5:02.84s) of St. Nicholas.
