Region Four’s STEAM Fair Inspires Innovation and Creativity at Good Hope Secondary
The Department of Education – Region Four has officially opened its highly anticipated Science Technology Engineering and Arts (STEAM) Fair at Good Hope Secondary School, bringing together the creativity, ingenuity, and problem-solving skills of students from across the region. With over 75 projects on display, the event provides a platform for learners to showcase their talents in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STeAM).
Declaring the fair open, Education Officer Mr. Colwyn Delph emphasized the importance of STEAM education in preparing students for the future. He noted that the fair challenges young minds to think critically and develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges, ultimately contributing to the nation’s development.
The two-day event features Nursery and Primary students presenting their projects on Wednesday, followed by Secondary students on Thursday. Through hands-on learning and creative exploration, the fair fosters a spirit of curiosity and discovery, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to become the next generation of innovators and leaders.
