Region One Residents Engage Government During Cabinet Outreach

Residents of Bumbury and Wanaina in the Mabaruma Sub-District, Region One, turned out in their numbers to raise their concerns and have key issues addressed during the Government’s Cabinet Outreach.

The residents engaged with Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education; Permanent Secretary, Ms. Shannielle Hoosein-Outar; Chief Education Officer, Mr. Saddam Hussain; and Ms. Geeta Chandan-Edmond, Advisor to the Ministry of Public Service, Government Efficiency and Implementation.

The outreach provided residents with an opportunity to speak directly with government officials, seek solutions to challenges affecting their communities, and receive guidance on the way forward.
