Region Two NGSA top performers bring pride, joy to teachers, parents, communities

Seven of Region Two’s top performers

The 2025 National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) results have brought pride and joy to families and communities across Region Two, where the elements of unity, hard work, and dedicated teaching have led to outstanding performances by primary school pupils – particularly those from CV Nunes Primary School in Anna Regina, Essequibo Coast.

This school emerged as a beacon of academic success this year, with six students ranking among the top ten in the region – a feat that reflects not only student commitment but the tireless efforts of educators and supportive families.

Topping Region Two is Kalissa Hampersaud of Huist Diren Primary, with an impressive 487 marks. She was followed closely by C.V. Nunes pupils Roshini Seecharan and Ziyad Mohamed, who both secured 486 marks
