Today, we remember and honour the life of our beloved colleague, Orin, whose untimely passing in the tragic MV Barima incident has left the Guyana Learning Channel (GLC) and EdYou FM family in profound sorrow.
Orin joined the Guyana Learning Channel on November 21, 2021, where he faithfully served as the Site Monitor for GLC TV and EdYou FM in Port Kaituma. His dedication, professionalism, and commitment to ensuring our educational broadcasts reached the communities we serve made him a valued and respected member of our team.
This heartbreaking tragedy also claimed the lives of his two beloved sons, making this loss even more devastating. Our hearts are with his family as they grieve the unimaginable loss of a devoted father and his children.
The entire GLC and EdYou FM family extends its deepest and most sincere condolences to all of Orin’s loved ones, friends, and everyone affected by this tragedy. We pray that God grants comfort, strength, and peace to those mourning during this incredibly difficult time.
May Orin and his two sons rest in eternal peace. Their memories will forever remain in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
