Remembering 'Sir Raghu'

Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, and the Ministry of Education join the national education fraternity in mourning the passing of retired Headteacher of St. Joseph High School, Mr Nathram Raghubansi.

Fondly remembered as "Sir Raghu", he gave more than 30 years of dedicated service to the teaching profession.

A distinguished Mathematics educator and Guyana Teachers' Union award recipient, his 22-year tenure at St. Joseph High School helped shape the lives of generations of learners across Guyana.

We offer our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, former colleagues and students at this difficult time.
