Students in grades 10, 11, sixth form and those attending the Practical Instruction Centres (PICs) and the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions returned to face to face teaching while students in the other classes will continue to be engaged while at home using various modalities.
Students at home will be engaged virtually by their teachers, worksheets will be distributed to their schools to be uplifted, the Guyana Learning Channel will continue to broadcast content for the various grades of students while the Broadcast to Schools and the Interactive Radio Instruction (IRI) program will continue on the radio.
Seen here are students of the South Ruimveldt Secondary School during classes this morning. All COVID-19 measures as advised by the Ministry of Public Health are being observed.
