The Schools Welfare Department - Region Five conducted another community outreach in the Perth, Strathcampbell and Mortice communities.

Mr. Elton DeAbreu and Ms. Onika Gordon, teachers from the Novar Secondary School participated in the activity and distributed worksheets to students living in those communities.

Also participating in the exercise was the Advisor to the Minister of Education, Ms. Africo Selman. Officers from the Department who were present included Mrs. Gloria Davidson-James, Senior Schools Welfare Officer, Senior Guidance and Counselling Officer, Mr. Netram Lalaram and Ms. Roxan LaRose, Schools Welfare Officer.

Police Officers Montette Halley, Ovril Dover and Trillin Joseph from the Mahaicony Police Station accompanied the team during the exercise.
