SOME UPPER MAZARUNI HEADTEACHERS OFFICIALLY RECEIVE SCHOOLS' CASH GRANT

Some of our Upper Mazaruni Headteachers have officially received their Schools’ Cash Grant, issued via cash payment, to support the day-to-day running and continued improvement of their schools.

This grant is more than a handover; it’s a practical step toward ensuring schools in hinterland communities and across Guyana have the resources needed to respond to immediate priorities, strengthen learning environments, and keep essential operations moving smoothly. From minor repairs and classroom support materials to basic supplies that help teachers and students function better each day, the Schools’ Cash Grant provides schools with timely support where it matters most.

The Ministry of Education remains committed to ensuring every child, no matter their location, has access to a quality learning experience and that our Headteachers are empowered with the tools and support to lead effectively.
