Sonia Parag Meets CXC Leadership to Discuss Collaboration

Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, today received a courtesy call from the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) leadership: Registrar Dr. Wayne Wesley and Director of Operations Dr. Nicole Manning.

The meeting sought to discuss CXC's future direction and increased opportunities for collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Guyana as a whole.

Minister Parag briefly outlined the government's vision for education in Guyana, expressing appreciation to CXC for their work and continued support.

Minister Parag was joined by Permanent Secretary, Shannielle Hoosein-Outar; Chief Education Officer, Mr. Saddam Hussain; Chief Planning Officer, Mrs. Mischka White-Griffith; and Superintendent of Examinations within the Ministry of Education, Ms. Souda Kadir.
