Suicide Prevention Month continues!

Since the entire month of September is dedicated to raising awareness and promoting suicide prevention awareness, we’ll be continuing to share your beautiful posts, activities and initiatives while shining a spotlight on the incredible work happening in schools across Guyana.

Our first feature for today: Waramuri Secondary School in Region 1.

The school held an impressive Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk and Talk, bringing students and the school community together to raise awareness, encourage open conversations and remind everyone that every conversation can make a difference.

We’re proud to see our schools taking action and helping to change the narrative around suicide and mental health.
