The Department of Education-Region Six continues to support and demonstrate acceptance for persons with Autism.

Autism acceptance is essential for inclusivity of all persons with disabilities.

Today, the Department hosted an exhibition to demonstrate inclusivity in education through displaying teaching-learning resources that are concomitant with the learning styles of those who acquire education differently.

The teaching-learning materials were showcased to visiting members of the public and pamphlets were distributed. We encourage every Guyanese citizen to join in the acceptance of children and adults on the spectrum.
