During a recent inspection visit to the University of Guyana, the Hon. Sonia Parag, Minister of Education, noticed that the whiteboard being used by a teacher at the George Walcott Lecture Theatre (GWLT) was inadequate for the large number of students attending classes there.
The Minister immediately pointed out the deficiency and committed to providing a smartboard.
Just a few days later, not one, but two smartboards were provided. The boards will be conveniently positioned to ensure that every student in the lecture theatre can clearly see the content being presented.
A small but important improvement that will make a big difference to the students and teachers who use the GWLT every day.
