WAUNA’S NUMBER 9: REMEMBERING SHAMERA SMITH |

Shamera Smith had only recently started playing football but was already part of Wauna Primary Top’s championship team, which reached the national top eight.

Her father remembered her as a helpful child who loved sports, especially running.

Shamera died following the MV Barima tragedy. She was 13 years old.
