Emergency response teams are on the ground across the Essequibo Coast tonight. Tarpaulins have already been installed on the roofs of Riverstown Primary School and Richmond Nursery, while repairs have been completed on the roof of the Guyana Fire Service living quarters in Anna Regina. Additionally, affected homes have received tarpaulins to serve as temporary roof covers for the evening.
Seven teams are deployed from Charity to Riverstown and Lima Sands to conduct damage assessments and ensure that affected families receive the support they need.
