It's all hands on deck!

As the 2026–2027 school year begins, the Ministry of Education invites all faith communities across Guyana to join in prayer for our students, teachers and school communities leading up to the August 31st reopening.

Minister of Education Sonia Parag has confirmed that the National Secondary Schools Track and Field Championships will take place from March 3–5 at the Bayroc National Stadium in Linden.

We are continuing to outfit our schools with reminders for every student and teacher to be kind, practice patience, and reject bullying and violence.

As we prepare for the reopening of schools on Monday, let us prepare our children not only for academic success but also to be kinder, more respectful, compassionate and considerate towards one another.
